GracefulHosting in the Media

Now, before you do read the article I must say that there are many errors. The article was written before the whole DMCA situation so when the DMCA situation arose, I asked the newspaper not to publish the story and did not, therefore, edit the article. The newspaper published the story anyhow without my permission so I did not get to edit it.

New Client Management System

With the new website design and big plans for GracefulHosting, I decide it was time that I took advantage of a client management system of some sorts. After researching I decided on a piece of software call ClientExec. This software is a billing and support system all wrapped into one. I’m going to give a quick overview of the features of the software and what I hope it will do for GracefulHosting.

First and foremost, the new system has tons of features. One of the most important is the billing feature. This system allows will automatically send you invoices, reminders, late notices, receipts, and other billing materials on its on. This will allow me to focus on the support and developement side instead of the billing side of the business. Now, thats just what the billing feature does for me. As for you, you will now have an area where you can login and see current invoice, previous invoices, and even future invoices. The system will allow you to pre-pay for your hosting services, it will allow you to upgrade or downgrade your plan, add paid features, cancel your hosting services, and so much more.  Another thing you guys may enjoy are the new payment methods that are already in the system. Of course, we will be accepting paypal. The system will even allow you to setup a subscription. We are also going to be accepting checks and money orders. You simply choose that as your payment method and drop your payment in the mail. The NEW feature, however, is our decision to accept credit cards via methods other than PayPal. You will also be able to setup a subscription for your credit card so it charges you automatically. On top of all of this, your private information is now protected by SSL. 

Now, the support side of the software(which really exites me!) The support side of the new system will allow you to create support tickets. Why support tickets? Tickets allow me to track the quality of support you are receiving. It will also allow multiple support members to assist you in the event that I hire a staff member. How do you open a support ticket? Simple! All you need to do is email support@gracefulhosting.com. All emails to this address are automatically converted into tickets. You can also login to the system and create a ticket. On top of the tickets feature, the new software has a knowledge base feature which allows me to create answers to common issues in a FAQ type format. Another great feature is that you will be able to login and view previous support tickets that you opened and the answers to them.

The Recent Updates

As many of you, know we recently made some system updates. While we were on hiatus, we went through the system and fixed a few coding issues, added one or two new features, checked over the entire system again, and this is what is now the latest version of GracefulCart, GracefulCart v4.19 .  In order to bring the coding fixes we manually updated your site. All current clients have had the updates made. If you have any issues please let us know at support@gracefulhosting.com .

New Website Design!

After much thought and work on both my part and Cara’s, GracefulHosting has a new design. I think that the new design will better represent myself and my business. I also think that they layout is more simple than the previous design when it comes to navigation. The new design will be carried over into new ads that will be displayed in several places across the net as soon as we launch our advertising campaign.

So, tell us what you think. Do you like it? Do you hate? What would you change?

We would also like to know if you feel we should make the admin area of your website reflect the new design? We toyed around with the idea and threw together some graphics to do a test run but it looks to dark to us. Do you think it will hurt our image if we continue to use the old design in the admin area and the new design everywhere else?

Just add a comment and we will take all of your thoughts and comments into consideration as we proceed with this endeavor.

Updates for Software! IMPORTANT!

Over our hiatus we made some updates to the software. Updates include functionality updates and security updates(mainly security updates.) These updates are ready to be release now BUT YOU MUST EMAIL ME TO ADD YOURSELF TO THE UPDATE LIST. Under most circumstances this would not be necessary but due to the number of clients that are now spread out amongst different webhosts we have no (simple) way to monitor who exactly is accessing our update system. Simply email support@gracefulhosting.com and we will get back with you.

Hi Everyone,

Court was today and everything went fine. The case was dismissed. Judgement was denied. All websites are being opened back up slowly but surely.  PLEASE BEAR WITH ME THROUGH THIS. As you all know, I am a one person operation so all support request may take a little longer to answer. If you have changed webhosts and are interested in coming  back, I suggest you wait a few days to allow everything to settle back in. When you are certain you are ready to come back simply email support@gracefulhosting.com. If you are still with me, please email support@gracefulhosting.com with ALL support issues. This will assure everything is handled in an orderly fashion.

Don’t forget, you all get three months of free hosting due to the issues that you have went through. You will receive a coupon in your email for the three months of free hosting as well as further instructions in the next few weeks. In the meantime, hosting is on the house for all current and previous clients. New clients are not being accepted for the next few days but a notice will be posted when we are and details will be provided.

Another Update
